Quarter of a million people across the UK will be diagnosed with cancer this year. More than half of them will die within 5 years. And cancer doesn’t discriminate. Nobody is immune. Experts estimate that perhaps 40% of cancers are preventable if we live a healthy lifestyle. That means a staggering 60% are not. Even particles in the air we breathe can trigger it.
Some cancers are notoriously difficult to diagnose but many can be successfully treated, provided treatment starts in the early stages. Attack is the best form of defence.
