1995 -: Diagnosed with a malignant melanoma whilst managing FC Porto
2006 -: Cancer strikes again in Sir Bobby’s lungs
2006 -: Sir Bobby has a tumour removed from his brain leaving him with partial paralysis
2007 -: Tumours return to Sir Bobby’s lungs
2009 -: Sir Bobby dies peacefully at home aged 76
